UNREADABLE FLASHDISK, HOW TO OVERCOME IT?

Flashdisk is in great demand by many people, because of its compact size, it is more efficient to carry everywhere.  But what if suddenly it can't be read when connected to a computer.  Eits, don't think it's broken right away.  You can try several ways to check it.

Check the condition of the flash via Disk Management. With Disk Management, you can tell whether your flash is detected or not.  After the flash is installed on the PC, right-click Start in the lower left corner then select Disk Management.  If detected, your flash is located at the bottom itself as "Removable".  If you can't read it, you can format it, the risk is that the files in the flash will be lost.

Make sure there is no dust on the head of the flash. One of the most common problems experienced by a flash drive so that it cannot be read is a hardware problem.  The port or flash head is generally open and therefore, it is easy to get into dust or dirt.  Clean it and use an eraser to clean the yellow part inside the flash port.

Update the driver in the Device Manager. It could also be the driver from the flash itself that has expired.  So, what's next ?  You can go directly to the Device Manager via the Quick Access menu, how to the following slide ...

- right click on Start.  - If the Device Manager window opens then look for USB Root Hub, right click and select "Update driver".  - Then select "Search automatically for updated driver software", but make sure your PC is connected to the internet.  - Wait a moment and the flash driver will be automatically updated.

Turn off the USB selective suspend feature SB selective suspend is one of the battery saving features that helps save power by turning off the USB port power even when the flash is installed.  If the flash is not detected, this feature could be in an active position.  How to do it ?

To turn it off, you can right-click Start then select Power Options.  Power & sleep window will appear, then click "additional power settings" on the right side.  - Then, select Change plan settings> Change advanced power settings> USB settings> "USB selective suspend setting".  In the on battery and plugged in, select all of them Disabled.

Don't put it anywhere so that your flash can still be used properly!
